Swindon Music Festival – 20th-28th March 2026.

The Swindon Music Festival returned from 20th to 28th March 2026, celebrating its 117th year of bringing together performers of all ages. Throughout the week, children and adults competed across a wide range of classes, including voice, piano, woodwind, brass and stringed instruments.

As always, the atmosphere was vibrant, supportive and friendly. Audiences were treated to an impressive standard of musicianship, with consistently high-quality performances across all categories. On Wednesday and Friday evening, classes were held for winners from piano, instrumental and junior vocal classes. This gives winners of all ages the opportunity to compete against each other.

These classes are always of a very high standard. The Festival concluded with a memorable Grand Finale on Saturday 28th March, featuring the prestigious Senior Vocal and Supreme Championship classes. Adjudicators once again praised the excellent organisation of the Festival, which is run each year by a team of enthusiastic volunteers, and commented on the exceptional level of talent on display.

Congratulations go to all who took part in what proved to be a highly successful and inspiring week of music.
